Happy To Help

I thought I would share this as my heart melted when I received this unusual request from a returning customer.
Kerry, a lovely customer of mine is the Aunt of a special little girl we'll call A who suffers from Spinabifida. Earlier this month A was admitted into hospital, intensive care to be precise very very poorly

As you can see A already has a Angel rag doll (hopefully to watch over her x ) and Aunt Kerry has also bought her our popular Nurse dolly but Kerry wanted to know if we could make a Surgeons outfit for A (as she spends so much time in and out of hospital) so I got together with my fabulously talented mother in law (who was a theatre nurse until retirement) to see what we could come up with....and this is the result!

As you can see A is now on the mend and we are so happy she loves her Surgeon Rag Doll.
Wishing you love of Love A x x x

School Holidays love 'em or hate 'em ?

For 90% of the time I am in the 'love 'em ' camp of school holidays, I am down to only having one child left at school (insert sad face) and can honestly say he is lovely company and I enjoy being with him the majority of the time although there has been the very odd occasion when I could throttle him! (joke)
I am a little concerned that we are now nearly half way through the school holidays and we haven't done any of the things on my carefully researched 'things to do in the school holidays' list!
We have been lucky enough to have stayed to my lovely friends caravan at North Yorkshire for 9 of those days and the weather was very kind to us so we spent most of the time on the beach, in the swimming pool, up trees (him not me), on the park and walking. I love caravanning, for me it removes you from the hustle and bustle of everyday life, we had no Internet connection and very poor phone signal so found ourselves going back to basics for evening entertainment. We played pick up sticks, jacks and card games, reminds me of when I was a kid (a long long time ago ....) traditional games were the best and only form of entertainment!

Target Performance Review

Those of you that know me know that I am no stranger to the gym and exercise classes so when I found I had won a facebook competition for 2 free personal training sessions and one group session I was very excited hoping to gain tips, exercise suggestions and some technique advice.
Target performance is run by Mitchell Slawson a personal trainer that has his own converted gym at home but also offers home visits, he can also provide exercise programs and nutritional advice.
I arrived at Target Performance HQ to find Mitchell already set up and waiting (que apprehension of what lies ahead) we talk about my exercise routine, my goals and targets as we set to warm up on the bike (bleugh, my worst exercise by far) at this point you know Michell knows exactly what he's talking about and how passionate he is about his job.
Next came some boxing! never tried this before and boy was it therapeutic punching the hell out of the pads (was picturing a certain persons face at the time but I am too much of a lady to let on who it was ;) ) Did this in various combinations of upper cuts, jabs with the intro of squats (get me and the jargon) feeling rather sweaty and heady at this point but exhilarated. Tried skipping, that is all I have to say about that lol.
Mitchell then introduced me to the contraption that hung from the ceiling a bit like some torture device but turned out to be some awesome bit of kit! off this I did squats, balance, press ups and crunches...bloody brilliant and so versatile!
If your wanting some focus, motivation and encouragement with your exercise routine I would seriously suggest getting in touch with Mitch, he can be found on facebook or via twitter or the good old fashioned telephone  07875 510427.
Can't wait for next weeks session! Although I think I should be abit worried when I received a text to say 'I'm going to push you next week!'

How embarassing !

Completely, mortfiabley embarrassed that it's 8 months since I last blogged **blushes a dark shade of pink**
Since I discovered that updating my status on my facebook business page via my smart phone so quick and easy I feel I have somewhat neglected my poor little blog, well that's going to change as of now! but I've decided to do things a little different this time, I am going to blog about non business related things too (should make it a little more interesting)
